At 4dot, after years of effort, we have obtained a patent for the MUSA technology.
One day before the start of MSV - International Engineering Fair 2018, we filed a patent application for the MUSA technology. Last year, we were granted a patent and developed a tool that allows the user to evaluate geometric tolerances already during production. For example, the MUSA technology on a rotary grinder can evaluate waviness and ovality already during grinding. This tool increases the stability of the process and the data obtained in the digitalisation serves to increase the productivity of the production process. The same hardware can also be used, for example, to monitor the condition of rolling bearings or ball screws.
In addition to the Czech patent, we have positive results from an international preliminary survey and 4dot is now fine-tuning the strategy in which territories we will pursue local patents.
