At MSV Brno, 4dot will present the new PM3 vibration sensor, developed specifically for forming machines, but which will also find application in machine tools and other applications.
The 4dot PM3 is a three-axis vibration sensor with a frequency range from 0 Hz to 24 kHz. With the ability to measure even low frequencies, the signal can be well integrated to speed and position. The built-in dimensions of the sensor have been designed for forming machine tools and the forming and machining machines themselves. For example, the PM3 sensor allows monitoring of tool clamping, tool movements, ram clearance, process energy, bearing condition.
In the 4dot exhibition you will also find the 4dot SM overmould sensor and plenty of information on technical diagnostics and process monitoring options. You can also learn about the multi-tool monitoring system currently under development. In other words, at 4dot it can tell when one cutting edge on a saw or milling head is damaged.
